Roll back if problems occur
You’ll learn how to immediately halt a rollout if a pipeline causes problems. Fleet Management’s Active toggle lets you stop delivery to all matched collectors in one click — no attribute changes or pipeline deletion needed.
To roll back a pipeline, complete the following steps:
In the Remote configuration list, locate the Active toggle next to the pipeline you want to halt.
Click the Active toggle and confirm you want to deactivate the pipeline. Fleet Management stops sending this configuration to matched collectors on their next poll.
You don’t need to change matching attributes or delete the pipeline — the deactivated pipeline stays in the list so you can reactivate it or use it as a reference when troubleshooting.
Tip: Use Fleet Management’s Pipelines history feature to review what changed and restore a previous version if needed.
You now have a complete and repeatable strategy for safely rolling out configuration pipelines. Use the env attribute and regex matching to control the blast radius of each change, and the Active toggle as your emergency stop.
