Stage a remote configuration rollout using Fleet Management

Welcome to the Fleet Management learning path that shows you how to safely roll out configuration pipelines across your collector fleet using a staged deployment strategy.

Rolling out a new pipeline to your entire fleet at once is risky. A misconfigured pipeline can silently drop telemetry or break collectors in production before you can react. Using the env attribute with regular expression matching, you can roll out gradually — starting with dev, expanding to staging, then releasing to production in controlled stages. At any point, you can deactivate the pipeline with a single click.

Before you begin

Before you stage a rollout, ensure you have:

• A Grafana Cloud account. To create one, refer to Grafana Cloud.
• Grafana Cloud administrator privileges.
• Collectors already registered with Fleet Management.
• A configuration pipeline ready to roll out.
